Bristol of the future
BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL @ JONES MILLBANK
Every Future Foundation is a non - profit that was looking for an engaging video that engaged young-adults
to sign up to their brand new 6 month anti-racism activist program.
Because of the lack of previous footage to present the course, the approach taken was to integrate stock images with bold colors and textures to make it urban, young and impactful, as well as helping the audience visualise with each part covered by the program, and encourage them to take part in real change and explore their potential.

STYLE/ MAKING IT 'BRISTOL'
We wanted to make sure we didn't create just a template that could be any city. We wanted to make it Bristol. To do do that, besides the iconic buildings and landscape, we came up with a simple unique palette of strong colors, which added to the textures brough that edginess very recognisable in Bristol.
In order to show people their vision. The council gave us a long list of developments to represent and link together in a short amount of space. To make it more relatable to the Birstol citizens, we created a journey on the day of a young family whose life is shaped by all these new developments. From school, workplaces and recreation, including new cycle lanes and upgraded public transport.
Storyboard process was specially important in order to lay out the the journey and make sure Bristol City Council were happy with the way the message was being portrayed properly before getting into the full production of the story.
To make sure we were achieving the emotional connection with the audience, we made sure there was a combination of wide shots and close ups that bring you back to the family's individual and collective journeys through the city.
